Frequently Asked Questions
Prom is a special occasion for our Homeschool Community. The committee puts every effort into making this event run smoothly and ensure it’s a success for students to enjoy for years to come. As the number of homeschooled students grows each year, we are finding an increasing number of students from different backgrounds attending. This is a wonderful thing!
However, this increase adds more varied opinions on the standards of certain aspects of prom. Therefore, the committee is implementing more formal guidelines to help everyone understand the expectations, in hopes of avoiding misunderstanding. We are passionate about this event and pray that everyone planning to attend the event will uphold the same standard.
Who can purchase tickets?
HOMESCHOOL Seniors (graduating 2026) and Juniors (graduating 2027) may purchase tickets and are considered the “ticket holders”. Each ticket holder may purchase their ticket and a guest ticket. Please note, you are only allowed to be a ticket holder for 2 years (a Junior ticket and a Senior ticket holder). In addition, you are also only permitted to be a guest for 2 years as well.
What is early access and who can participate?
All SENIORS (graduating 2026) will have early access from 4:00PM-5:00PM on Monday April 6, 2026 to purchase their ticket and their guests ticket. Remaining tickets will be available for Juniors (graduating 2027) beginning at 5:00PM. If you are not a Senior and try purchasing tickets before 5:00PM, you will have your ticket(s) refunded by the committee and risk not getting to re-purchase at the later time. Please just be honest and patient if you are a Junior.
Who can be a guest?
Guests are not required to be a homeschooled student but must follow the age guidelines and agree to all policies set by the Prom committee. Additionally, all information (email, phone number, emergency contact, etc.) NEEDS to be filled out when purchasing tickets. Please use the time leading up to ticket sales to invite your guest and ensure you have all their information.
What is the age requirement?
The MINIMUM age of a guest that is allowed to attend is 14 years old by May 1, 2026. The MAXIMUM age is 19 years old by May 1, 2026.
Do you have to attend with a date/guest?
Absolutely not! Come with a group of friends, siblings, a date or fly solo!
